Kyu Promotions
The following aikidoka have been promoted to the rank of 5th Kyu: Jeff Jackson, Alex Johnson, Zelma Higgs, Ardell Cokley, Shakeim Higgs, and Nikolas Jackson. Additionally, the following student, Bruce Harding, was promoted to 3rd Kyu. Congratulations guys! You all did a great job.

Morihei Ueshiba (1883-1969) was history's greatest martial artist. He was the founder of Aikido, which can be translated as "The Art of Peace." Morihei Ueshiba is referred to by the practitioners of Aikido as O-Sensei, "The Great Teacher".
